Primal is the word I would use to describe my recent work. When I see the reactions of viewers I see them feeling the work. It is important to me that viewers feel my work or are transported. As time moves on so does my work.

The hopes I have for my work are that I can keep moving on. My continued education even after I finish my BFA at The University of Toledo will lead me in new directions. My work is out there to reach as many as I can. It is my hope the art will help others as it helps me. The images of landscapes are often from some of the slides that run through my mind.

Growing up in Alaska has given me a vast treasure trove of memories to pull from. The more time goes on the more nature and the wildness of it influence my work. I hope to keep making work that sends viewers on their own advenchures.
