Alaska is where I was raised. I moved to Toledo Ohio in 2001. University of Toledo is where I completed my Bachler of Fine Arts in 2D. Drawing has always been my escape. Even as a very young child. The wilderness of Alaska makes its way into my art. There is an abstractness in my art. The art I make tends to have an abstractness coming out of it.

I like to bring out the art in all things. I find inspiration in the patterns in nature. Incorporate these patterns helps the abstract out comes in my art. Different mediums give me many  surfaces to draw, paint or carve on.

I work with stone, glass and semi-precious stones to make jewelry. Jewelry has always been one of the ways women have had to express themselves. Every piece is different so people will find something that speaks to them.

I want my art to bring out an emotion in the viewer. I am always poring my energy in to my art. Always moving forward in my process to reach out to the next viewer. Making art in any form keeps my mind right.

Sending Good Energy Your Way!
